Prairie Moon Meadows Farm

Prairie Moon Meadows is a family owned farm in Albert Lea, MN at the crossroads of Interstate 35 and 90. The farm is owned by Jim and Jill Berg. We raise colored Corriedale sheep, Nubian goats and Registered Quarter horses. Hand spinners love the Corriedale's lustrous fleece.

It is easy to spin and soft enough to wear next to the skin. The crimp is well defined and has quite a bit of elasticity. The wool has a spinning count of 56' to 58's. Our Nubian goats provide us with milk for naturally moisturizing handmade soap and delicious hand crafted cheeses. Unfortunately we keep most of these to ourselves but we love to discuss it.

We also raise a very limited number of AQHA foals with outstanding color. Our stallion is buckskin with cutting/reining bloodlines. These include Zan Parr Bar, Doc Bar, and Peponita. Our mares include bloodlines from Freckles Playboy, Peppy San Badger, and Doc's Prescription. These foals have excellent athletic ability and the good mind to succeed.
