Prairie Moon Rise Farm
Prairie Moon Rise Farm is a small family farm located near Albert Lea, MN at the crossroads of Interstate Highway 35 and 90. The farm is owned and operated by Bob and Jane Killpack. We share our lives with purebred Cormo Sheep, German angora rabbits, Dexter cattle and quarter horses. We use natural and sustainable agriculture practices. Cormo sheep are best known for their wool qualities which are wonderful for handspinning making a soft, lofty yarn. We sell our wool directly to handspinners, felters and other fiber artists. We also sell breeding stock.

Our purebred Nubian dairy goats provide milk for cheese and handmade soaps. Our Dexter cattle are one of the smaller breeds of cattle. They are a very laid back dual purpose breed known for turning forage into rich milk and pound for pound cost less to get to market.
In addition to animals we also raise prairie and woodland wildflowers to help repopulate those that have been lost to urban sprawl, indiscriminate "gathers or diggers", & chemical sprays.
